Case study · Private practice Lindenthal

Ill today, at the doctor's today.

For Daniel Lindenthal's private practice at Rotebühlplatz, we built a website and online booking that make this possible in a few clicks.

Homepage of dr-lindenthal.de: headline “Medicine with heart and time. In the heart of Stuttgart.”, Daniel Lindenthal in a white coat next to it, below the buttons “Book an appointment” and “Acutely ill?” (the site is in German)
“Same-day appointment” card from the booking window: within 24 hours, sick note possible if medically justified, guide price from €31, about 10 minutes

A doctor who takes his time. In the heart of Stuttgart.

Daniel Lindenthal studied medicine in Ulm, earned his doctorate there and researched chronic inflammatory bowel disease. He then worked in radiology at the Kantonsspital Münsterlingen in Switzerland. Then came his own practice: a private practice in Stuttgart, today at Rotebühlplatz 31.

His aim is right at the top of his website: a practice for people who expect more than five-minute appointments. He treats privately insured patients, patients entitled to Beihilfe (state healthcare allowance for civil servants) and self-payers; patients with statutory insurance are welcome as self-payers.

  1. UlmStudies, doctorate, research
  2. MünsterlingenRadiology, cantonal hospital
  3. Stuttgarthis own private practice

Three focus areas: diagnostics and treatment, cannabis therapy and medical weight loss with GLP-1. Plus the same-day appointments.

An example morning

From the first click to the practice.

The same-day appointments make this practice special: every day, slots are kept free for acute cases. Our job was to make sure people can find and book them in minutes.

  1. 07:45

    Fever, sore throat, the day's a write-off.

At the very top of dr-lindenthal.de there's a red button: “Acutely ill? Get an appointment fast”. No searching through menus.

  2. 07:50

    Same-day appointment booked.

It's the first option in the booking window: within 24 hours, guide price from €31, about 10 minutes. The cost is clear before you book.

  3. 09:30

    The reminder arrives by itself.

The confirmation comes straight away, reminders 24 and 2 hours before the appointment. Anyone booking a video appointment receives the access link by email.

  4. 11:30

At the doctor's, in person or by video.

At Rotebühlplatz or in the video room. A sick note is issued if it's medically justified.

The times are an example. Booking route, guide price and the same-day slots kept free every day are shown this way on dr-lindenthal.de (accessed 22 Sep 2026); the reminders are set up in the calendar (as of 18 Aug 2026).

What we built.

A website that explains calmly, and a booking that's quick. The two work together.

The entire homepage of dr-lindenthal.de from top to bottom: introduction, three focus areas, about, patient voices, articles, FAQ and contact

A website with a clear stance.

Warm colours, a real portrait, plain language. Visitors see straight away who treats them here, roughly what it costs and how to get an appointment. Two routes are always at the top: book an appointment, and acutely ill.

Right below the introduction are the platforms the practice is known from: Grünhorn, Flowzz, weed.de and Jiroo.

Step 1 of the booking window: four areas, first the same-day appointment with the note “within 24 hours”, then diagnostics and treatment, cannabis therapy and medical weight loss, each with a guide price
Step 2: same-day appointment by video with a guide price from €31, sick note as a possible add-on and a duration of about 10 minutes

A booking window in four steps.

Area, service, appointment, your details. Every service shows its guide price under the GOÄ (the German medical fee schedule) before booking. So the cost question is settled before the appointment.

Behind it runs a calendar on the EU instance of Cal; video appointments run via Whereby. As of 18 Aug 2026, 14 appointment types could be booked publicly: 9 at the practice, 5 by video.

Therapies page: diagnostics and treatment, cannabis therapy and medical weight loss, each with an image, three bullet points and a “Learn more” button

Three focus areas, each with its own route.

Someone coming in with an infection wants an appointment fast. Someone interested in cannabis therapy wants to understand the process first. Someone who wants to lose weight compares methods and costs. That's why each focus area has its own page and its own way into the booking.

From there, it continues to the separate sites medizin-lindenthal.de, doclindenthal.de and abnehmen-lindenthal.de.

Fast to load, cleanly built, readable for AI.

No patient notices it consciously, but everyone feels it. And Google and AI assistants read it too.

Time to the largest visible element (LCP), two runs each on the homepage.

  • Desktop, throttled23.11 s and 3.20 s

Google's threshold for “good”: 2.5 s. Throttled means: a slow connection and a processor slowed down four times – a deliberately tough test. The second desktop run was an outlier.

The figures will follow. On purpose.

The new website has only been online for a few weeks. Google, Maps and AI assistants need a few weeks to crawl, understand and rank new pages. Comparing visitors or bookings now means comparing the start-up phase with normal operation.

That's why we wait about 90 days and then show real figures from day-to-day operation. We don't publish estimates.

What we'll show here then

  • Online bookingsalso split by appointment type, practice and video
  • enquiriesby phone, WhatsApp and form
  • Visibilityin Google Search, in Maps and in AI answers

What runs in the background. And what can be connected.

Nobody at the practice has to send confirmations and reminders by hand. Invoices, payments and review requests aren't connected today; they can be attached to the same calendar if the practice wants that.
